This pairing shapes both the feel and thermal behavior of the sleep surface, delivering a balanced mix of resilience and luxurious softness that adapts to movement and temperature changes through the night.
The ticking combines wool, silk, and viscose for breathable softness that conditioned the microclimate from first contact. The upholstery layers progress from resilient British fleece wool to the long-crimped horsetail, then to the fine Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere, followed by a core of Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton for body and absorption. The two layers of hand-nested, vanadium steel calico pocket springs (3,296 in a King) respond independently, while the hand tufting with woollen tufts and twine compresses fillings to a stable depth, preserving loft and edge integrity over years of use.
