The Coronet marks the entry point where Vispring’s hand-craft threads into the collection, capturing the essence of the marque with a deliberately clean filling profile around British fleece wool and cotton. The sleep surface uses a wool and viscose ticking that remains fine enough to relay the responsiveness of the layers beneath while actively wicking moisture away from the body.
The fillings unfold in three distinct stages: a surface layer of bonded British fleece wool and cotton for immediate resilience and breathability; a middle layer of British fleece wool to boost loft and passive temperature regulation; and a blended British fleece wool and cotton stratum closer to the spring unit to distribute load evenly before it reaches the coils. The spring system features a single row of hand-nested calico pocket springs made from Vanadium steel; in a King size, 2,058 springs respond independently to weight and movement to absorb pressure without cross-transfer. The border is upholstered with protective wool and reinforced with two rows of hand side-stitching to lock perimeter springs in place, while hand-tufting with felt washers keeps fillings aligned for consistent support from edge to edge.
